Your first guitar lesson

Here is one of our teachers at Rock U giving you an idea of what your first lesson might look like! Cullen Anderson teaches guitar and banjo and loves playing with other people. He likes a lot of alternative music and especially loves Dave Matthews Band. You can often find him jamming with the other teachers in the lobby when they aren’t busy with lessons. Cullen loves the sound of a good rhythm guitarist and will do everything in his power to get you strumming along to your favorite songs. He could help you understand what chords are, and which chords to use as well as help show you how to strum. Cullen has a good understanding of what it takes to improvise a solo and could help you take steps to improvise a solo over your favorite songs. Pretty soon you might be jamming with some of the teachers too, if you put the practice in. Whether it be jazz, rock, or country Cullen would love to play with you and get to know you better.
